- r e v e r s i b l e - easily turns inside out to show off another, completely different dress
- single button & loop closure at the back. button is covered with coordinating fabric
- embellished on the chest and one sleeve with a technique called reverse applique, revealing layers of coloured fabric and textural raw edges
i studied both ceramics and textiles. iznik refers to a city in Turkey that was well known for producing beautifully decorated ceramics, many of which featured elaborate florals that continue to be an influence on my work.
